Myrtle D. Smith, 91, a resident of Bogalusa, born on Aug. 5, 1924, in New Orleans, passed away on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, at Rest Haven Living Center in Bogalusa.

She is survived by one daughter, Donna Smith Glass; and one grandson, Patrick Blair Glass.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William S, Smith Jr.; her parents, Joseph G. Davis and Viola Bush Davis; a daughter, Patricia Smith Evans; and one brother, Jules Davis.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
