Janice Sticker

Janice Sticker, born Nov. 11, 1938, passed away at her residence on Jan. 1, 2016 at the age of 77. She was a native of Bogalusa and a member of Hebron Baptist Church.

She was a beloved wife and mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her husband, Daniel B. Sticker of Bush; two sons, Jerry Paul Miller Jr. and his wife Nancy of Madisonville, and Bradley Allen Sticker and his wife Leann of Kolis; two brothers, Leslie Wendell Sumrall of Biloxi, Miss., and Jerry Sumrall and his wife Brenda Wallace of Bush; four grandchildren, Jerry “Jay” Paul Miller III, Alan Levi Sticker, Patrick Thomas Miller and Jackson Curtis Miller; two great-grandchildren, Elias Miller and Aliana Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Levi and Allie Mae Jordan Sumrall; her first husband, Jerry Paul Miller Sr.; and a sister-in-law, Marylin Sumrall.

Visitation was Saturday, Jan. 2, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home, beginning at 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and resumed Sunday Jan. 3, after 1 p.m. until the service at 2 p.m.

The Rev. Matt Smith officiated the services and the interment followed at the Acey’s Creek Cemetery, located in the Pine community.
