Milton Carrier

Milton Earl “Wart Hog” Carrier was born Feb. 24, 1950, and passed in his sleep at his residence in Bogalusa on Dec. 18, 2015.

He served his country from 1969 to 1971 in the U.S. Army. He was a 1968 graduate of Bogalusa High School and was always proud to be a mighty Lumberjack. He was also a post member of American Legion Post 24.

He is survived by three sisters, Quida (Samuel) Harris of Lucedale, Miss., Ann (David) Kenny, and Beverly (Allen) Little of Bogalusa; one brother, Lavon (Carol) Carrier, also of Bogalusa; 10 nieces and nephews; and 19 great-nieces and great-nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle and Beatrice Carrier; a brother, Larry Elton Carrier; a sister, Paula Carrier Mitchell; and his son, Chad Sullivan.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 2, from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Main Street Baptist Church in Bogalusa.
