Charlene Inez Ramsey, 89, passed away Dec. 30, 2015 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Franklinton. She was a resident of Bogalusa.

She is survived by her son, Robert Earl Ramsey Jr. of Bogalusa; Two daughters, Joyce Kaye Schroeder of Bogalusa and Janice Ramsey Patterson of Bogalusa; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Ramsey Sr.; parents, Andrew and Flossie Felts Cooper; brothers A.W. Cooper and Arnold Cooper; and sister, Gleta Jean Jenkins.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Saturday Jan. 2, from 9 a.m. until time for services in the chapel beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Hillview Memorial Gardens. Rev. Patrick Magee will officiate.
