Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal asks for the public’s help to identify thieves who stole merchandise from two parish businesses.

On Saturday, Dec. 12, a young male wearing blue jogging pants, a blue hoody with gray sleeves and a jacket tied around his waist stole merchandise valued at approximately $300 from a business on Highway 10 West.

The suspect loaded a shopping cart with merchandise, quickly exited the store, loaded the items in his vehicle and drove west in the direction of Tangipahoa Parish. The vehicle had a temporary tag.

On Friday, Dec. 18, a convenience store on Highway 21 South was victimized by a female who walked around the store grabbing items from the shelves. The stolen goods are valued at approximately $30. She fled in a silver Ford Taurus driven by an unknown male.

“Any information on these suspects will help,” Seal said. “We want to find and arrest them. If anyone has information on these two thefts, they are asked to call us at 985-839-3434 and pass on the information. Callers can remain anonymous.”

This female suspect allegedly stole $30 worth of items from a business on Highway 21 South last Friday.
