H. C. Jenkins Jr., 86, passed away Dec. 14, 2015 at Good Samaritans Nursing Home in Franklinton.

He was a resident of the Enon community and member of Mt. Zion UPC.

He is survived by his wife Juanita Whitehead Jenkins of Enon; two sons, Dual Jenkins of Bogalusa and Charles Jenkins of Bogalusa; one daughter, Diane Jenkins Knight of Franklinton; two brothers, Wilson Jenkins and Showalter Jenkins, both of Covington; two sisters, Aline Jenkins and Joy Neal of Covington; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Jenkins; parents, Charles and Gertrude Rogers Jenkins; six brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 18, in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Jenkins Cemetery. The Rev. Leon Hickman will officiate.
