Mr. William “Bub” Connor, a retired contractor and farmer, died Dec. 12, 2015, at North Oaks Hospital. He was 82.

Mr. Connor was a lifelong resident of Franklinton, and a member of The New Jerusalem Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving, faithful wife, Leaudry Connor of Franklinton; six children, Evelyn Hart of Franklinton, Emmeal (Nancy) Connor of North Platte, Neb., Alice Dyson of Baker, William Larry (Wanda) Connor of Baton Rouge, Ryan (Melanie) Connor of Zachary, and Katrina (John) Auzenne of Opelousas; one sister, Mardessa Bickham of Franklinton; a special daughter, Mary (Donald) Dukes of Pensacola, Fla.; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 18, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 19, at noon at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Franklinton, with the Rev. Johnny Causey Sr., pastor, officiating.

Interment will be held in Brown Cemetery on Jamerison Creek Road.
