Washington Parish Chief Deputy Mike Haley said that authorities are still looking for two men who robbed a business earlier this month.

On Wednesday, Dec. 2, the Dollar General on Highway 10 in the Richardson Community of western Washington Parish was robbed at gunpoint by two armed suspects who entered the store at closing time and demanded money.

The first suspect is described as a young male wearing black sweat pants, a black sweatshirt with a hoodie, black tennis shoes and a blue bandana over his face.

The second suspect is described as a young male wearing a dark sweat shirt with an unknown logo (shirt turned inside out), purple or blue sweat pants and a red ski ear flag cap pulled down over his face.  He was wearing black and white shoes with red shoestrings.

The armed robbery is being investigated by the Detective Division of the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office. If anyone has any information about this robbery, they are encouraged to contact the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office at (985) 839-3434. Callers may remain anonymous.

“We need to get these criminals out of our community and into our jail,” Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal said. “Call us if you have any information about this dangerous crime and help us to locate these armed criminals and arrest them.”
