Annie Laura Williams, 75, passed away Dec. 10, 2015 at Resthaven Living Center, where she was a resident. She was a retired nurse.

She is survived by two daughters, Joy Williams-Landry of Sun and Faith Ellen Williams of Varnado; a son, James Charles Williams Jr.; one sister, Lois Craft of Osyka Miss.; her grandchildren, Charity Estelle Williams, Hope Ennice Williams and Quentin Waylon Landry; and her ex-husband, James C. Williams.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Edna Ennice; parents, Oscar and Edna Evans Wheeler; brothers, Wilfred, Johnny, Lonnie, Herschel and Walter Wheeler; and sisters, Edna Estelle Welch and Betty Kate Myrick.

Visitation was held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 11, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. It will continue on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 8 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Talleys Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Leon Hickman will officiate.
