Pauline S. Robertson

Pauline Smith Robertson, 54, and a resident of Varnado for 30 years, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015.

Pauline was a faithful member of First Church of Bogalusa. Pauline showed the love for Jesus in her everyday life as a servant, prayer warrior and encourager. Pauline lived by her favorite scripture Joshua 24:15, “As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.” Pauline’s message to her family and friends is, “Don’t weep for me, but love and live for Jesus until I see you again!”

Pauline will be greatly missed by her husband of 33 years, Robert Robertson; daughter, Tiffany Nicole Robertson Humble (Jessie); and a grandson, Kolby Kelly Robertson, “the love of her life.” Pauline is also survived by a sister, B.J. Stringer; brothers, Vernon Smith (Rhonda) and Ed Smith (Shirley); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by a son, Joshua Kelly Robertson; parents, Earl and Carline Smith; sister, Earline Moak; and brother, Kelly Earl Smith.

Visitation was held on Monday, Dec. 7, at First Pentecostal Church, 14532 Highway 21 South, in Bogalusa, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Visitation continued on Tuesday, Dec. 8, at First Pentecostal Church from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The funeral services were held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Travis Houston officiating. Interment followed at Pine Community Cemetery.
