Jerry Perkins

Mr. Jerry Dale Perkins, 56, of Bogalusa, humbly gave a silent sigh and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Annette Foreman Perkins of Bogalusa; seven daughters, Latoya (Chris) Barnes of Franklinton, Andrea L. Baham, Adrain S. Ishman Foreman and Geraldine Fields, all of Bogalusa, Simone (Corey) Lewis of Hammond, Donna (Kelsey) Davis of League City, Texas, and Temeker (Tyrus) Holmes of Robert; his mother, Irma Dean Perkins of Bogalusa; grandchildren, Christopher Wayne II and Lakirrea Janae Barnes of Franklinton, Thomahj, Lamond, Makari Godbolt, Tyler Williams and Londyn Fields of Bogalusa, Trinity Ann, Isiah Gabriel and Thomas “T.J.” Baham of Mandeville, Brieley Corey Lewis and Chandler Wilson of Hammond, Kelsey “K.J.” Davis II and Marquis Davis of League City, Texas, Cedric “C.J.” Bolds of Bogalusa, and one unborn grandchild; siblings, Joyce Perkins Davis of Folsom, Emery Perkins Jr. of Dallas, Texas, Gaynell Perkins Porter of Bogalusa, and Willie (Gwen) Perkins and Bobby Perkins of Dallas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Emery Hoover Perkins Sr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 4, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Greater Salter Chapel A.M.E. Church, located at 920 Dan St. in Bogalusa, followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Earl B. Robinson, pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in the Duffy Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa.
