David Comans, 70, passed away on Nov. 24, 2015, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He is survived by his children, Sherri Lynn (Jerry David) Spillman, David Lee (Carmen Lorena) Comans, Glinda Gail (James) Riley and James Gordon (Bonnie) Comans, all of Bogalusa; one brother, Billy Gordan (Rita Sue) Comans of Union, Miss., and one sister-in-law, Jane Comans of Carthage, Miss.; one aunt, Anne Sue Glission of Brandon, Miss.; seven grandchildren, Aaron David Comans Spillman, Cole Allen Spillman, Heather Nicole Comans, Brandy Leigh Comans, Dakota James Riley, Erica Cheyenne Riley and Lisa Marie Wilmoth; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Carol Hedge Comans; his parents, Gordan Brown Comans and Mary Magdeline Comans; two brothers, James Curtis Dunn and Hugh Wayne Comans II; two sisters, Barbara Ann Comans and Rita Faye Comans; one infant daughter, Teresa Marie Comans; one infant niece, Brenda Carol Comans; two infant nephews, Jimmy Dewayne Comans and Donald Earl Comans; and his beloved pets, Husky, Kitty, Smokey and Bob.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The funeral service was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m. with service at 11 a.m., and interment following at Ponemah Cemetery.
