Daphne Dyson

Daphne Dillon Dyson, 42, a native and resident of Crossroads, Miss., died Monday, Nov. 23, 2015.
She was a graduate of Bogalusa High School and attended Pearl River Community College and William Carey University.
A devoted wife and mother, Daphne is survived by her husband, Eugene Dyson and two daughters, Haley and Emily.
She is also survived by her parents, Joe and Jane Dillon of Crossroads; two brothers and their wives, Rod and Heidi Dillon of Bogalusa and Evan and Heather Dillon of Oak Grove, Miss.; in-laws, Richard and Louethel Dyson; two brothers-in-law and wife, Richard Dyson Jr. and Caleb and Bethany Dyson, all of Bogalusa; and four nieces and one nephew, Anna Beth, Aubrey, Shakira, Autumn and John Garrett.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Benton Edgar Jr. and Walterine Bickham of Franklinton, and Hulon and Winnette Dillon of Mt. Hermon.
Daphne was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Crossroads. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was a talented basketball player and very gifted artist.
Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 27, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. Burial followed in Ponemah Cemetery.
