Mr. James “JB/Man” Brown Sr. departed this life on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at the age of 63 at Northshore Specialty Hospital in Covington.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his loving wife, Annie Taylor Brown of Bogalusa; his loving strong mother, Jeffie Dee Brown Peters of Angie; one daughter, Donna Brown of Bogalusa; three sons, James Brown Jr. of Dallas, Texas, and Jeffery D. (Latira) Taylor and Christopher Taylor, both of Bogalusa; six sisters, Mary Dee Anderson of Fayetteville, N.C., Penny Sue (Earl) Jackson of Sumrall, Miss., Flora Jean (Thomas) Ezell and Demetra Warren, both of Columbia, Miss., Alice Faye (Willie) Alexander of Angie, and Julie Ann Peters Herron of Gastonia, N.C.; five brothers, Ronald Peters and Donell (Sabrina) Peters, both of Angie, Burnell Peters of Bogalusa, Johnny (Sherry) Mikell of Columbia, and the Rev. Charles Magee of Baton Rouge; one special niece, Tenesha Jeanehe (Willie/Martin) of Columbia; a very special son-in-law, Kimbo Robinson of Bogalusa; one uncle, Marshall (Zella) Peters of Moss Point, Miss.; two aunts, Jessie Mae Magee and Ora Lee Peters, both of Angie; 28 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon, with the funeral beginning at noon with the Rev. Raynis Bridges, pastor, officiating.
