On Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, at the Rest Haven Living Center, God called Mrs. Inez Myres Pigott home to take her complete rest.

She leaves unever dying memories to five daughters, Louaner (Leroy) Spikes, Doris (Charles Sr.) Jackson, Undrethia (Barnett) Moses, Debra Peters and Tracey Robinson; four sons, Willie (Stella) Pigott, Bernard (Moricell) Pigott, Irvin (Gwendolyn) Pigott Sr. and Kenneth (Ella) Pigott Sr.

She was blessed with 44 grandchildren, 99 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren.

She also leaves to cherish her memories brothers-in-law, B.J. Pigott, Julius (Roberta) Pigott, Claude Burrell and one sister-in-law, Irene Myres.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ceasar and Lottie Myres; a loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Earnest R. Pigott; daughters, Minnie Stacks, Vander L. Brumfield and sons John E. Pigott and Willie R. Pigott; granddaughter, Dequlia Brumfield Ishman; grandsons, Stevenson Brown, Clinton Brumfield Jr. and Trenton Brumfield; great-grandsons, Jacques Brumfield, Cornell “C.J.” Glover Jr. and Neyman Pigott; daughter-in-law, Joanne Brown Pigott; sons-in-law, Andre Peters Sr. and Regynold Robinson; sisters, Vander Dillion, Stella Burrell, Lillie Smith and Lee Ethel Morris; brothers, Pharoah, J.D. Hart, Jessie and Leslie Myres; sisters-in-law, Elosie, Ada, Helen, Gloria Dean and Lena Mae Pigott; and brother-in-law, LeRoy Pigott.

She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., followed by the homegoing service at 1 p.m. at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church in Angie, with the Rev. Terrence August, pastor, officiating.

Enternalment will be in the Jefferson Cemetery. Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa is in charge of arrangements.
