Randy Hodges

Randy E. Hodges, 60, passed away Oct. 26, 2015, at his residence in Boga-lusa.
Randy was a retired lieutenant with the Bogalusa Police Department. He also worked a number of years with the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office, and served as a council member for District E for eight years.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sondra Hodges; son, Steven Hodges; mother, Lillie Mae Hodges; sisters, Linda Seal, Anita (Danny) Stogner and Pam (Keith) Sumrall; brothers, Kenny Miller, Harold Forbs Jr. and Roger “Pam” Forbs; mother-in-law, Jean Stogner; three brothers-in-law, Danny (Anita) Stogner, Joe (Sheila) Stogner and Tim Stogner; two sisters-in-law, Rhonda Stilen and Donice Miller; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He is preceded in death by a son, Scott Hodges; sister, Faye Doris Hodges; brother, Owen Larue Hodges; his father, Owen Steven Hodges; and mother, Mildred Spieres; father-in-law, Doneis Stogner.
Visitation was held in the chapel of Brown McGehee Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Visitation continued on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 8 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m. Burial was in Ponemah Cemetery, with the Rev. Chad Jenkins officiating.
Honor guards were Captain Kendall Bullen, Captain Percy Knight, Lt. Wendell O’Berry, Lt. Troy Tervalon, PFC Jeff Bergeron, PFC Josh Spinks, PFC Josh Herndon and PFC Ryan Rester.
Pallbearers were Chief Joe Culpepper, Captain Kendall Bullen, Captain Percy Knight, Lt. Troy Tervalon, PFC Jeff Bergeron, PFC Josh Spinks and PFC Josh Herndon. Honorary pallbearers were Scott, Justin and Jase Branch; Gage Leslie and Dillion McNeese.
