Mary Frances Copping, a resident of Hammond, 80, born on June 27, 1935 in Bogalusa passed away on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015 at Heritage Health Care in Hammond.

She is survived by her husband, Leon Loteria Copping of Hammond; four sons, Michael A. Copping of The Colony, Texas, David T. (Millie) Copping of Meraux, Steven J. (Liza) Copping of New Orleans and Father Gary P. Copping of Madisonville; three grandchildren, Annabelle Copping, Arnold Diaz, Jemara Diaz; two great-grandchildren; also survived by Jim Valenti and a host of loving relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lillie Valenti; a daughter-in-law, Judy Copping.

Visitation will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church, 517 Ave. B, Bogalusa, from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Nov. 6, 2015. The Funeral Service Mass will be held at noon with Archbishop Gregory Aymond, Father John Noone and Father Gary Copping officiating. Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
