Kids learn health lessons

Byrd Avenue Primary School recently hosted a “Health Ahead/Heart Smart” health fair to promote health and physical education.
Children’s character, Bippo, was on hand to help adults teach the message of the importance of healthy living.
During the program, physical education instructor Sandra Lusk received a check for approximately $1,000 from Health Ahead/Heart Smart official Terri McMillan.
