Nannette Blackwell

Nannette P. Foster Blackwell was born Aug. 15, 1963, in Bogalusa, to the parents of William T. Foster, Jr. and Ella M. Hatcher Foster.

She is the third child of five: Anita Lorraine Howard, Shondalon G. Foster, Melissa A. Foster and Undra R. J. McKenzie.

At the age of 2-1/2, the family moved to California and there with her family she attended Southwood Methodist Church where she was baptized and sang in the choir.

Nan attended Century Park Elementary School, Henry Clay Jr. High and Washington High School. Later she attended the L.A. School of Technology, graduated and worked for Walmart until her health began to fail.

Nan is the proud mother of Tony (Crystal) Osbourne; Steven (Keisha) Osbourne and neice/daughter Myesha Harry.

She married Lester Blackwell in 2001 and that increased her family of three to a family of 24.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband, Lester Blackwell, 24 children and grandchildren; parents, William and Ella Foster Jr.; three sisters, Anita (Gregory Howard), Shondalon Foster and Melissa Foster, one brother, Undra (Lisa) McKenzie; and a host of god-children, aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces.
