Randy E. Hodges, 60, passed away Oct. 26, 2015, at his residence in Bogalusa.
Randy was a retired lieutenant with the Bogalusa Police Department. He also worked a number of years with the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office, and served as a council member for District E for eight years.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sondra Hodges; son, Steven Hodges; mother, Lillie Mae Hodges; sisters, Linda Seal, Anita (Danny) Stogner and Pam (Keith) Sumrall; brothers, Kenny Miller, Harold Forbs Jr. and Roger “Pam” Forbs; three brothers-in-law, Danny (Anita) Stogner, Joe (Sheila) Stogner and Tim Stogner; two sisters-in-law, Rhonda Stilen and Donice Miller; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Faye Doris Hodges; son, Scott Hodges; brother, Owen Larue Hodges; his father, Owen Steven Hodges; and mother, Mildred Spieres.
Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown McGehee Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 8 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery. The Rev. Chad Jenkins will officiate.
