James Lee Magee was born Aug. 8, 1937, and departed this life on Oct. 17, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Magee; father, Ollie Magee; and sister, Willie Dean Hall.

He is survived by his daughter, Kim Y. Davis (Navele Davis) of Tacoma, Wash.; sister, Ruthie Brister of Bogalusa; granddaughter, Quiana C. Davis of Tacoma; grandson, Quinton C. Davis (Bria Davis) of Tacoma; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, Oct. 26, in the chapel of Cook-Richmond Funeral Home at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Christopher Matthews officiating. Interment will follow in Bogalusa Cemetery.
