Turner named Washington Parish Fair Queen

Pine High School student Fallon Turner was crowned 2015 Washington Parish Fair Queen Tuesday night at the Washington Parish Fairgrounds in Franklinton.

Turner beat out 11 other contestants. Turner is a four-year member of the Pine Cheer Team and is currently serving as the 2015-2016 Cheer captain. From 2014-2015, she served as co-captain. She is also a four-year member of the Lady Raider soccer team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, and Beta Club, in which she serves as Reporter.

Previously, Turner received Student of the Year Award and traveled to Washington, D.C. to represent Washington Parish to the Louisiana senators.

After graduation from high school, Turner plans to attend LSU where she plans to study Surgical Obstetrics.

Bowling Green senior Riley Robertson was First Alternate and Franklinton High School student Madison Peco was Second Alternate. Peco also won the Interview Award.

The Fashion Award went to Bowling Green student Cameron Robertson, while the Miss Congeniality winner was Pine High School senior Megan Graham.
