Terry C. Dyson Jr., was born to the late Terry C. Dyson Sr. and Hynither Dillon Dyson on Oct. 29, 1950. He departed this life on Sept. 27, 2015.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two children, Tamika Dyson and Terry C. Dyson, III both of Long Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Barbara Dyson (Donald) Cager, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Nora L. Dyson Durham of Garland, Texas; a brother, Wendell S. Dyson of Franklinton; devoted friend, Sandra Freeman of New Orleans; nieces, Dannell Cager and Courtney Durham; nephews, Donald (Bea) Cager, DeJuan (Giaunna) Dyson and DeLarian Dyson; aunts, Evelyn Dyson of Baton Rouge, Edith Dyson of San Francisco, Calif., and Myrtle Johnson, Alyne Dillon Spikes, Alice Dillon, Martha Dillon and Debra Dillon, all of Franklinton; one uncle, Robert Dillon of Franklinton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 2, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., with a family hour from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m., at Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Franklinton.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 3, at 4 p.m., at Sweet Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Franklinton, with the Rev. Dr. Mallery Callahan officiating.  Interment will be held in the Sweet Rest Church Cemetery. Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Franklinton is in charge of arrangements.
