Richard W. Fontenot, 75, of Bogalusa, passed away Sept. 29, 2015, at Resthaven Living Center.

He is survived by one son, Richard R. Fontenot of Abita Springs; a stepdaughter, DeOna Bell of Alabama; one sister, Lois Bichham of Franklinton; a sister-in-law, Helen Fontenot of Bogalusa; and three grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Fontenot; parents, Ray and Audie Fontenot; brothers, Ray, James and George Fontenot; and one sister, Bonnie Talley.

His wishes were to be cremated and there are no memorial services planned.
