Patricia Wascom, 71, born on March 17, 1944, in Bogalusa, passed away on Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at Care Center in Baton Rouge.

She is survived by two daughters, Ramona Elkins and Cheryl Ann Hannam; one son, Louis N. “Trey” Wascom; and six grandchildren, Jeremy Elkins, Patricia Louise Hannam, Bridget Nicole Hannam, Matthew William Hannam, Zachary Dayne Wascom and Jacob Louis Jackson Wasom.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Hyatt and Essie Mae Strahan Hyatt.

There will be a graveside service at Ponemah Cemetery on Friday, Sept. 25, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Derrick Jarrell officiating.
