Margaret Cutrer Kitchens, 95, born on Oct. 20, 1919, in Tangipahoa Parish, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at her residence in Bogalusa.

She is survived by three nieces, Dixie Cutrer (Tom) Sanderson of Birmingham, Ala., Carol Coutrier of Groton, Mass., and Margaret Cutrer (David) Tynes of Petal, Miss.; nephews, Hardy (Lori) Cutrer of Baton Rouge, and Clyde (Jackie) Cutrer Jr.; one brother, Carl E. Cutrer Sr. of Bogalusa; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and her caregivers.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bryan A. Kitchens; two brothers, J. H. Cutrer, Jr. and Clyde W. Cutrer Sr.; a nephew, Carl E. Cutrer Jr.; and a niece, Denise Cutrer Sandlin.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Sunday, Sept. 20, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. Greg Whaley officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
