Ruby Lee Perkins Williams, 63, entered into eternal rest on Sept. 1, 2015.

Williams was the loving daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. (Clara) Perkins Sr.; devoted mother of Clara F. Williams Malanez (Carlos), Charles E. Jr., and Rhueban L. (Eugenia) Williams; caring grandmother of Gage, Markius, Rhuban III, Jeremiah, Alton, Asia, Taylor, Donnavon and Deondra; sister of Charley B. Jr., Michael (Yvonne) and Bernell (Geraldine) Perkins, Arlief (Herman) Ettienne, Aline P Causey, Minnie P. Lewis and Debra (Tholiver) Felix. She was also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, as well as the pastor, officers and members of New Home Ministries, Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Mt. Carmel Baptist Church (Bogalusa, La) and all neighboring churches in the surrounding area, are all invited to attend the homegoing celebration Saturday, Sept. 12, at New Home Ministries 1616 Carondelet St., New Orleans, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Robert Blakes Jr., pastor, will officiate. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. in the church.

There will be a funeral cortege to Mt. Carmel B.C. in Bogalusa for a 1 p.m. viewing, with a 2 p.m. service. Interment will follow at Duffy Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa.
