Riverside Medical Center recently congratulated Ben Lott, RN, BSN, for receiving the “Great 100 Nurses” award.

Lott is the vice president of clinical services/chief operating officer for Riverside.

“We are so proud of Ben and all of his accomplishments,” said Kristina Knight, community outreach director for Riverside. “He is a shining example of the great care we provide at Riverside Medical Center.”

The Great 100 Nurses Foundation was founded in New Orleans 29 years ago and since then has honored thousands of nurses across Louisiana, North Carolina, Texas and Oklahoma. These exemplary nurses are selected based on their concern for humanity, their contributions to the profession of nursing, and their mentoring of others.

Lott will be honored at the Great 100 Nurses Celebration of Louisiana on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the Ponchartrain Center in Kenner.
