Jo Anne Johnson, 78, of Walker, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor.

She was a retired ob/gyn nurse with 15 years of service.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 4, at Christ Community Church, beginning at 9 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Burial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Bonnie Cemetery in Angie.

She is survived by her son, Mark Johnson; two daughters, Letitia Johnson Imme and husband Dave and Deanna Johnson Ferrand and husband Ray; 10 grandchildren, Andrew, John, Adam, Seth, Matt, Ben, Lauren, Anna, Audrey and Ava; two great-grandchildren, Bambi and Rhett; sister, Betty Rachal; and three sisters-in-law, Faye Johnson, Bobbie Johnson and Rosemary Knight.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Logan and Beatrice Helm; her husband, Sidney Ray Johnson Sr.; and son, Sidney Ray Johnson Jr.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bogalusa for many years and very active in her community.
