Wayne Raymond Stephens Jr. passed away at Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital in Houston.
Wayne Raymond Stephens Jr. was born April 2, 1976, in New Orleans. He was the middle child of three children to the parents of Evangeline Magee and Wayne Stephens Sr.
Wayne Stephens was educated in New Orleans public schools. Later on in life Wayne attended Louisiana Community and Technical College, where he received his GED on April 11, 2002.
Wayne was known to be a very smart, intelligent, loving, caring person. Wayne loved to make you laugh. He was the funniest person to be around. He will be forever missed by many.
Wayne leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Vedora Avery Stephens; one son, Joshua Stephens; parents, Evangeline Magee and Wayne Stephens Sr.; stepparents, Theron Banks Sr., and Shelia Stephens; two sisters, Vannita Haynes and Colandri O. Reed; four brothers, Micheal Wayne Noto, William Stephens, Howard Haynes, and Thomas Reed III; aunties, Eveleen Robinson, Eleanor Stephens, Lynette Stephens and Lisa Stephens; uncles, Micheal Stephens, Ricky Stephens and Chris Stephens; godparents, Emmanuel and Rhonda Beatric; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, from 10 a.m. until 12:45 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa with Bishop R.C.
