Carolyn Rodgers Harland, age 65 and a resident of the Oak Grove Community, died Tuesday evening, Aug. 11, 2015, at Regency Hospital. She was a native of Carthage, Texas, but had lived in Washington Parish since the early 1970s. Carolyn was retired after a career as a sales representative for AT&T.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Chuck Harland of Oak Grove; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Butch Busby of Stony Point; three grandchildren, Jake Busby, Brooke Busby and Hope Busby; sister, Brenda Rodgers Griffin of Beckville, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W.C. “Buck” Rodgers and Aline Brevard Rodgers; sister, Doris Ann Rodgers Raines; and a brother, Billy Rodgers.
