Barbara Joann Miley, born April 3, 1941, went home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2015. She was a long-time resident of Bogalusa and was of the Baptist faith.                            

She is survived by two sons, Mike Miley and wife Staci of Pearl, Miss., and Ronnie Miley and his wife Faye of Nashville; grandchildren, Ashley Miley, Clint Cotton, Anna Miley and Brittney Pigott; great-grandson, Dustyn Hickman; special niece and nephew, Cathy and Winston Robbins; and other family members and friends.                                                                      

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Bertha Varnado; husband, Don Miley; a son, Blake Miley; brothers, Nate, Jay and Richard Varnado; and sisters, June McDaniel, Pearl Walker, Peggy Fairburn and Sandra Smith.                                                                      

Visitation will be held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Aug. 1, 2015 from 9 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Patrick Magee and Kevin Neary. The interment will follow in the Miley Cemetery in Pine.
