Carolyn Blackburn Puckett passed away at the age of 63 on Friday, July 17, 2015, in Covington.
She leaves to cherish her loving mem-ories two sons, Timothy (Dana) Cole of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Brannon Cole of Covington; three grandchildren, Anjela Cole, Madison Cole and Roman Cole; five brothers, Kenneth Blackburn of Abita Springs, Robert Blackburn of Fort Worth, Texas, Charles Blackburn of Kileen, Texas, Jerome Bickham of Georgia and Larry Armstrong of Jackson; eight sisters, Deloris Nell Blackburn of North Carolina, Sandra Conerly of Mt. Hermon, Deborah Loius Blackburn of Franklinton, Jacqulen Marie Blackburn of Terrell, Texas, Mary Catherine of Raleigh Durham, Kelly Temple of Bogalusa, Tongia Bickham of Baton Rouge, and Virginia Gayl Baless of Jackson.
She was preceded in by her husband, Percy Puckett; and one brother, Larry Blackburn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at Greater Starlight Baptist Church 521 W. 28th Ave. Covington, with the Rev. Mallory Callahan officiating and the Rev. Mallory Callahan II, eulogist. Interment will be held at the Abby Cemetery in Covington.
