Almeta Thomas Robinson passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at the age of 57 at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Evie Fields of Bogalusa; four children, Charles A. (Sandi) Robinson of Bogalusa, Eric L. (Karla) Robinson of Bogalusa, William G. Smith of Bogalusa and Alexus Sharda Smith of Bogalusa; siblings, Willa Pearl “Sis” Mithell of California, Sedrick Thomas of Bogalusa, Kay Frances Wasp of Bogalusa, JoNell (James Ray) Harry and Alfreda (Burnell) Weary, both of Angie, Joseph Thomas and Josephine Thomas, both of Bogalusa, and Robert James Thomas of New Orleans; two grandchildren, T’Keyah Robinson and Erica Robinson, both of Bogalusa; a lifelong friend, Ordis (Pete) Smith of Bogalusa.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a family hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Greater Salters Chapel AME Church with the Rev. Earl Robinson, pastor officiating. Internment will be in Bogalusa Cemetery.
