Willie Eugene Seals, age 84, born on March 22, 2015, in Washington Parish, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015, in Purvis, Miss. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Purvis, Miss.

He was a veteran and served in the United States Army.

He is survived by two sons, Steven Eugene Seals and Elmer Douglas Seals; four grandchildren, Amanda Paige Starns, Leah Margaret “Maggie” Seals, Steven Elmer Seals and Anna Ruth Kathreen Seals; four great-grandchildren, Nathan Seals, Matthew Starns, Dalton Pujol and Brayden Seals; one sister, Barbara Seals; and his companion, Jean Vincent.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Pearlie McCain Seals.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Friday, June 12, 2015, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. J. R. Hartfield officiating. Interment is to follow at Magic City American Legion Veterans Cemetery in Ponemah Cemetery with military graveside services by the Magic City American Legion Post No.24.
