Mrs. Cora Sticker, 94, died on May 30, 2015, at the Quality Care Residential Home near Summerville, S.C. She was a resident of Bogalusa for many years and was a long-time employee of Magic City Motors and Berenson’s Department Store in Bogalusa.

Mrs. Sticker was preceded in death by her only son, Lester Sticker Jr.; and by her husband, Lester Sticker Sr., a former captain with the Bogalusa Fire Department.

She had been living in South Carolina for almost nine years under the care of one of her nephews due to failing health.

Mrs. Sticker is survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.

A private graveside service will be held at Ponemah Cemetery on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Greg Whaley officiating.

Mrs. Sticker’s family requests that in lieu of flowers donations are sent to First Baptist Church in Bogalusa.
