Madison Marie Parrott, 1 year old, born on July 12, 2013, in Covington, passed away on May 22, 2015, at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.

She is survived by her parents, Travis and Mindy Parrott; two sisters, Kelsey Varnado and Breanna Varnado; one brother, Joshua Varnado, all of Bogalusa; maternal grandmother, Trudy Saunders of Bogalusa; paternal grandmother, Sharon Varnado; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Monday, May 25, 2015, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Visitation continued at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Billy Pierce and the Rev. Billy Ray Hines officiating. The interment followed at Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery.
