Carol Terrell

Carol Jean “Jeanne” Crain Terrell, a resident of Pine, age 70, born on March 4, 1945, in Bogalusa, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Northshore Specialty Hospital in Covington.

She was a charter member of Pine First Baptist Church. She was a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy D. Terrell; children, Sue Ellen “Suzi” Terrell Thomas and husband, R. Tim Thomas, Tommy Steven Terrell and wife, Wanda Martin Terrell, all of Pine; sister-in-law, Pearline Crain of Bogalusa; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Billie Sue Spears, Larry and Jean Terrell, Mary Lou and Daniel Gill, Gloria and Glen Haley, Charlotte and Mike Williams, Patsy and Harold Ritchie and Brenda and Eugene Martin; grandchildren, Adam and Brooklyn “Joney” Thomas, Kara Thomas and Cory Magee, Peyton A. Thomas, Kyle and Kari Galloway Martin, Nicole Martin, Cody Terrell and fiancee’ Hannah Tullos, Rion Terrell and Harley Terrell; great-grandchildren, Noah Thomas, Jaxon Magee, Rebecca Magee, Coleman Knight, Colby Knight, Brooke Carnegie, August Martin and Drake Martin; numerous nieces, nephews; and a large loving extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zoron and Josie L. Crain; a brother, James L. Crain; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Adele Skrmetta (Nick), Arlene Hobgood (Willie Faye).

Visitation was held at Pine First Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Visitation will continue at Pine First Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David Easterling, the Rev. John Lowery and the Rev. Cory Magee officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Adam Thomas, Cody Terrell, Rion Terrell, Dewayne Terrell, Johnny Hobgood and Keith Hobgood.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Terrell, Glen Haley, Daniel Gill, Eugene Martin, Harold Ritchie, Mike Williams, Lindy Terrell, Colby Knight, Coleman Knight and Kyle Martin.
