Jonathan Lee Crosby, age 34, of Franklinton, passed away May 18, 2015, at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton.

Visitation was Friday morning from 10 a.m. until service Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Apostolic Church of Bogalusa. The Rev. Jerry Terrell, the Rev. W.L. Pierce and the Rev. Chad Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow at Mizell Family Cemetery. Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Crosby was born on Dec. 4, 1980, in Franklinton. He was the son of Johnny Wayne Crosby and Pamela Sue Mizell Athey.

He was a truck driver and tree cutter for Creel Brothers Tree Service. He was a member of First Apostolic Church of Bogalusa, where he was a very active member and a minister involved in every facet of the church. He loved sports and coached little league basketball. He believed in being a great family man and spending as much time with them as possible.

Mr. Crosby was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy Crosby McGehee and J.P. Crosby; his grandfather, Gerald Ray Mizell; and his grandfather, Junior Millen.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Cotton Crosby of Franklinton; his father, Johnny Wayne Crosby of Franklinton; his mother, Pamela Sue Athey of Franklinton; his grandmother, Vicky Millen; one son, Landon, of Franklinton; two daughters, Savannah and Destiny Nicole, of Franklinton; eight brothers, Johnny A. Crosby, Howard Dewayne Crosby, Nicholas Eugene Crosby and Daniel Louis Crosby, all of Franklinton, Bennie Pearson and Brent Athey both of Lake Charles and Joseph Athey and Jock Mulkey, both of Franklinton; one sister, Jennifer Harvey of Lake Charles; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jock Mulkey, Delton Lacey, Brent Athey, Brad Miller, Keith Pokey and John Tarver.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Athey and Justin Branch.
