Hugh Thompson Walker, age 77, born on Feb. 24, 1938, in Kosciusko, Miss., passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Rae Walker of Angie; one daughter, Lisa (Randy) Pritchard of Angie; one son, Ronnie (Staci Stogner) Walker of Angie; one sister, Sally Gill of Pearl, Miss.; one brother, Lynn (Louise) Walker of Hobbs, N.M.; eight grandchildren, Jordan (Cami) Pritchard, Hayden Pritchard, Hannah (Adam) Thomas, Austin Stogner, Alex Stogner, James Gordon Walker, Kenneth Carroll and Dustin Carroll; and a special friend, Cheryl (Gene) Bays of Mandeville.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Mable Bridges; and two brothers, W.H. Walker and Burnice Walker.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Sunday, May 24, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. at H. H. Williams Cemetery in Angie with the Rev. Kelly Penton officiating.
