Cody Mulford

Cody James Mulford, age 21 and a resident of Pine, died Friday morning, May 15, 2015. He attended high school in Washington Parish and was a member of Love Missionary Baptist Church. Cody worked at the Honea Law Firm in McComb and was a former college student. He was always athletic and enjoyed sports, hunting and the outdoors. Cody enjoyed traveling and was always a very friendly person that liked to kid around with people. He liked many different movies and books and loved spending time with his family especially his younger siblings.

He is survived by his parents, Charles Ray and Misty Mulford of Pine and Carla and Tony Edwards of McComb; brothers and sisters, Barrett Mulford and his wife Shana, Mary Page Mulford, Rachel Brumfield, Courtney Brumfield, Macy Stogner, Derik Edwards and Kelly Edwards; grandparents, Ivell Miley, Page and Patsy Dew, Mary Catherine Boone, Eld. Glynn and Marcelle Erwin; aunts and uncles, Linda and Ricky Inabnitt, Darrel and Wendy Ard, Ryan Dew, Larry Erwin, Tyrone and Caron Blair and Carol Hobgood; “Little Brother,” Ashton Dew; and also numerous cousins and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Claude Mulford and brother Anthony Edwards.

Visitation was at Crain Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and after 10 a.m. on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel, with Eld. Glynn Erwin and the Rev. Shadd Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in the Seal Cemetery in Stateline.

Pallbearers include Harrison Freeman, Jake Boyd, Trevor Blair, Derik Edwards, Manning McMullen, Cote Liccericle, Scott Hobgood and Landon Erwin.

Honorary Pallbearers are Barrett Mulford and Graden McDaniel.
