The friends of the Washington Parish Library would like to thank all of the voters who took time out on Saturday, May 2, 2015, to go vote for the Renewal Tax for the four library branches in Washington Parish.

The library is thriving in many ways. More than 400 people per day visit anyone of our four branches, extended operating hours to accommodate those needing Internet for homework, applying for jobs online, performing ancestral research and other technology needs. The local public libraries offer technical assistance whenever needed, computer training classes, craft events, summer reading programs and the annual book fair. You can check out DVD movies and books on CD and much much more.

The parish library is for you to explore and discover the services it has to offer.
