Mrs. Mattie Bell DeLancey, 82, of Poplarville, Miss., died Saturday, May 9, 2015, at her residence.

The funeral services were at Murry Hill Church of God, 372 Ashe Road, Poplarville, on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Joe Robbins and the Rev. Buddy Ashe officiated at the service. The burial followed in the church cemetery. The family had visitation from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., Monday at the church.

Mrs. DeLancey was born March 12, 1932, in Columbia, to John and Sally King Boutwell. She was a homemaker and a member of Murray Hill Church of God.

Survivors include three daughters, Diane (Bennie) Buff, Debbie Reynolds and Shirley DeLancey; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George E. DeLancey; one grandson, Chad Reynolds; four sisters, Claire Ainsworth, Mary Davis, Florene Thames and Louise Snyder; three brothers, John Boutwell, Bob Boutwell and Charlie Boutwell; and one son-in-law, James E. Reynolds Sr.

Pallbearers were James E. Reynolds Jr., Ben Lott, Ryan Byrd, Cameron Byrd, Mitchell Buff and Jonathan Reynolds.
