Charlen Leeann Whitehead, born March 12, 1994, went home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2015, at the age of 21. Charlen was born in Bogalusa and was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by her parents, Diamond Whitehead Polk and Christopher Moffett of Bogalusa; fiancee, Nathan Smith of Bogalusa; two daughters, Alexis Nicole Smith and Miranda Faye Smith; a sister, Delilah Angel Polk of Bogalusa; a brother, Aschine Polk of Bogalusa; grandparents, Dillard and Terry Whitehead and Linda Whitehead; and numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation was held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and resumed Thursday, May 7, 2015, after 8 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. The Rev. Chad Jenkins and the Rev. Jerry Terrell officiated the services. The interment followed in the Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Pine.
