Carl Stanley Weary was born, July 23, 1958, and died, April 25, 2015.

Carl Stanley Weary Sr., a minister of the Gospel, finished his work here on earth on Saturday April 25, 2015, in the comfort of his residence, surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was a 1976 honor graduate of Bogalusa High School and 1981 graduate of Southern University.

The Memorial Celebration of Life will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 841 E. Sixth St., Bogalusa. The Rev. Douglas Hart is pastor.

Minister Weary Sr. served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1984.

Left in the caring hands of the almighty are his wife, Lorene Weary; children, Carl S. Weary Jr, John H.Griffin III (Kathy) and Justin C. Griffin; mother, Ella Mae Greely (Archie); brothers, Eric Greely (Desha), Terrance Greely (LaShaune), Kerry Greely (Judi), Efrem Greely (Jocelyn) and Adonis Spikes (Sherry); sisters, Sharon Greely, Zabrina Harris (Marvin) and Renea Hillery; grandchild, Juliana A. Griffin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
