Augustine Booker, age 69, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2015, at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her son, Andrew Booker; a grandson, Andrew Scott Booker; an uncle, Oscar Brumfield; an aunt, Nancy Robinson; cousins who were like sisters, Doris Hall, Martha Pate, Valerie Miller, Janie Peters, Rose (Eddie) Adams and Chiquita Pittman; a host of other cousins, nieces, nephew and friends; and faithful friends, Mabel Magee, Bernadine Robinson and Carolyn Weary Jones.

She was preceeded in death by her mother, Arthurine Brumfield; father, Levi Brumfield; brother, James Arthur “Nathaniel” Booker Sr.; seven aunts; and one uncle.

Visitation will be Friday, April 10, 2015, from 2 p.m. until 5p.m. with a family hour from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 841 E. Sixth St., Bogalusa, with the Rev. Douglas Hart officiating.
