Alla Mac Guy, born Aug. 3, 1927, passed away April 7, 2015, at the Lakeland Nursing Home at the age of 88. She was a native and long-time resident of Bogalusa and a member of the First Baptist Church in Bogalusa.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in- law, Rick and Donna Guy of Flowood, Miss.; a brother, Robert Williams of Atlanta; two grandchildren, Haley Whitlock and Alan Guy; two great-grandchildren, Lily Robinson and Hayden Whitlock; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy and Ethel Jordan Williams; her husband Richard Guy; four brothers, James Williams, Murphy Williams Jr., Bernard Williams and Steve Williams; and one sister, Laveda Williams Manning.

Visitation will be held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on April 9, 2015, from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. The Rev. Eric Williams will officiate the services with the interment to follow in Hillview Memorial Gardens located in Bogalusa on Spring valley road.
