Bobbie Lou Moore of New Iberia will have a funeral services at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Bobbie Lou Moore, 79, who passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, in New Iberia.

A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia.

The Rev. Aaron Weido will officiate.

Graveside services will be held at 1p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015, at the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Sheridan.

A native of Columbia, Miss., and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Moore was born on July 8, 1935, to Alvin and Lona Jenkins Pittman. She loved reading her Bible and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Comeaux and husband Bobby of Grand Junction, Colo., Elaine Comeaux of Corpus Christi, Texas, Marsha Mullins and husband Andy of New Iberia, Paula Spears and husband Laverne of New Iberia and Angela Moore of Grand Junction, Colo.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marlon Moore; sons, Thomas Moore and Donald Wayne Moore; brother, Otis Pittman; and sisters, Agie Lee Rester and Marie Creel.
