On Monday, March 30, 2015 Ethel Roxie Parker, age 89, of Talisheek, passed away.

She is survived by her children, Charlie Bruce Parker (Carolyn), Rita Joyce Ricks (Ricky), Peggy Sue Alexander (J.D.), and Carol Ann Lamb; brothers, Hurley W. Butler, Otis Gerald Butler and Bythol Ray Butler; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Roxie was preceded in death by her husband, Fay Parker; her son, Willie Marion Parker; parents, Charlie and Alma Butler; brothers, Louis Lamar Butler and Charlie Butler Jr.; and her sister, Norma Evon Tyson.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at noon from the chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home 67525 Louisiana Highway 41, Pearl River, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Holmes Cemetery in Talisheek. The Rev. Carl Meyers is officiating.
