The Bogalusa City Early Childhood Network team hosted the Early Childhood Math Bash on March 14 at Northside Parenting Center.

Children up to 5 years of age were introduced to a variety of math activities. Some of the activities included matching numbers to corresponding numbers and addition and subtraction.

The Bogalusa Early Childhood Network Team included various childhood care centers in the city. Participating team members included Agape Leaning Center, Sandy’s Kidz Child Care, Regina Coeli Child Development Center, Bogalusa Head Start & Early Start and Denhamtown Pre-K.

Parents were given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with each center, along with applications and enrollment forms, and got the chance to ask pertinent questions.

Participating children were given packets of take-home activities to continue playing and learning at home.
